The creators of GrandeLASH MD boast that their eyelash growth formula has breakthrough technology that will condition your lashes while lessening breakage and loss, while giving you longer, stronger lashes with results in 30-40 days of use.
They claim that 97% of users saw definitive improvement using their formula which contains clinically tested vitamins, peptides, and amino acids.
The Top Line: Not a buy. While many of the ingredients in the formula are natural and appear safe, others have very scary side effects such as permanent dark spots on the eye.
Based on these facts and comments from our readers, we have determined that Grande Lash is not a safe, effective option to help you attain fuller, longer lashes.

The Good
- The manufacturer displays the product’s ingredients on their website which helps us to feel safer about this product. The ingredients contain many natural elements such as Vitamin E and radish root, along with proteins and lipids.
- Their site also has many reviews from customers that describe the eyelash formula as “amazing”, “liquid gold”, and “it really works” (take a look here).
The Bad
- While researching this product, we were shocked to find that there is absolutely no evidence of the alleged clinical trial for GrandeLASH-MD. We were unable to locate any proof that the study even actually happened, which led us to be concerned on how safe and effective it truly is for you to use.
- While the lash formula has great reviews on the company’s website, they don’t offer any impartial or negative reviews for you to read. This could mean that these reviews are biased and meant to gloss over any negative feelings of others who did not like the product.
- The website for the UK distributor of GrandeLASH-MD warns you not to use the product when pregnant, nursing, or going through chemotherapy, which also caused us to be concerned about its safety and validity as an option. Since this product is one that you must apply onto your lash line, so close to your eyes, it is imperative you select one that is safe and non-harming.
Does GrandeLash MD Work?
If you’re looking to grow longer eyelashes – then, no, GrandeLash MD will not dramatically lengthen your eyelashes. To do that, you’ll want a great eyelash growth product.
Here is our recommendation:
Is GrandeLash MD safe to use? Does it have any side effects?

Depending on the person’s sensitivity, using GrandeLash MD or any eyelash serum can cause itching, eye pain, irritation, and dark pigmentation around the eye, which usually can be reversed by discontinuing the use of the product.
The company is aware about this and they recommend to stop using the product if you experienced irritation.
The company also cautions users to not use it when pregnant or breast-feeding as the product has not been tested on those situations. If you’re undergoing treatments, such as chemotherapy, it’s also better to wait until your treatment is over before you use the GrandeLash MD.
Fuller Lashes at What Cost?

One of the ingredients in this product is Cloprostenol isopropyl ester, which is a synthetic prostaglandin.
Prostaglandins can cause many issues include permanent darkening or light eye colors, which means your beautiful baby blues could develop dark spots that will NOT go away, ever (Toris, 2011).
Cloprostenol isopropyl ester has also been proven to cause termination of pregnancy during clinical trials with rats and mice.
I personally am terrified of putting any product that potentially harmful near my eyes, even if the payoff is fuller lashes. You need to ask yourself if there is a safer, more effective product available.
The Bottom (Lash) Line
While GrandeLASH MD tells you they have had great results in clinical trials and excellent customer reviews, you need to also look at the facts. There is no evidence of a clinical trial or research that we were able to find.
The customer reviews on their website are most likely biased since they do not also present negative feedback along with the positive for you to read.
While many of the ingredients in the formula are natural and appear safe, others including Cloprostenol isopropyl ester, have very scary side effects such as permanent dark spots on the eye and loss of pregnancy.
Based on these facts, we have determined that GrandeLASH MD is not a safe, effective option to help you attain fuller, longer lashes.

How to apply GrandeLash MD
Just like with other cosmetic products, there’s a right way on how to apply this serum for best results. If you’re not sure how, then read on to find out:
1. Remove any makeup and wash your face before applying the serum.
2. Remove the applicator from the bottle and carefully wipe off the tip to avoid excess product.
3. Carefully apply the applicator with a single stroke at the base of the upper and lower lash line. (This product is highly-concentrated so a little amount is only needed for best results. Do not apply too close to the edge of the eyelid. If it gets into your eye, rinse immediately with water.)
4. Apply it regularly before bedtime. Results are in 4-8 weeks, but full results are in 3 months, then use 3-4 times a week for maintenance.
5. If you’re over 30, you can put additional application in the morning.
Tips on Using GrandeLash MD
For safety and best results, I recommend the following tips when using the product:
- Apply the GrandeLash MD on a clean skin before bedtime. If you’re over 30, you may want to apply it twice a day (in the morning and before bedtime) to speed up the results. Older people take longer to grow body hair compared to younger ones.
- Always apply the serum with great care. Use only a little amount for both eyelashes and eyebrows. Avoid any excess product. If it gets into your eye, immediately rinse with lots of water. If irritation persists, consult your physician.
- Do NOT use GrandeLash MD if your eyelid is injured or inflamed.
- Do NOT use GrandeLash MD if you’re pregnant, breast-feeding, undergoing chemotherapy, or under the age of 18.
How long does it take to see results?
As mentioned, GrandeLash MD is produced with a blend of vitamins, amino acids, peptides, and other natural and conditioning ingredients that are effective in providing your lashes a thicker, darker, and fuller look. However, the results may vary depending on the individual.
GrandeLash MD claims to give results in just 6 weeks of regular use, but it can also take some time to see results.
According to the company, younger users usually see results in just 3-5 weeks. But when you’re older, like if you’re already over 30, the results can take a little longer, normally 8-10 weeks.

I used Grandelash MD for about two weeks. I had to discontinue use after having severe eye twitching in my left eye. It’s been about 4 or 5 days without applying the product, and about two weeks having eyelid twitching episodes daily.
I logged on here today to see if my eye twitching could be a result from this product….and this is the first comment I see! I’ve had severe twitching in my right eye since starting this regimen 2 weeks ago. I work in a corporate setting and am on the computer 8+ hours a day ..so I thought this was from screen fatigue. Of the 2 years I’ve worked in this setting I have never had an issue like this. I’ll give this serum another chance but if the twitching doesn’t stop…I’ll have to return the product. So sad bc it has lengthened my lashes
In 2 weeks it lengthened your lashes?
Same. Severe twitching in my right eye, countless times a day, even though I’ve quit using it for a week now. It better go away!!
It works really well for me and I haven’t had any negative side effects (been using for about a year now). Reading this stuff does make me think twice though… but like I said it works really well for me. I disagree with the article saying it won’t help your lashes grow because it sure did for mine. I do believe that it can affect people in different ways though and red skin/ dark under eyes is not worth it!
If you want a product that works, it would have to contain prostaglandins because that’s the active ingredient in Latisse. The other products do not grow lashes. So, you will have to take a chance if you want your lashes to be longer and darker. Do not believe the come on about the other product
I’m on my second tune. No lie,m this stuff works! I get complements all the time. I don’t use a eyelash curler any longer. My lashes are like I was eighteen again! I’mm 56!
I used Grandlash serum (purchased authentically on Sephora website) for almost 2 months. I have had a lot of eyelash shedding to the point where I now have a significant LOSS of eyelashes from where I started. I am extremely upset about this, as I researched the product extensively online before purchasing and there were NO comments about this anywhere on the internet. I contacted Grandelash and I was told that eyelash LOSS can happen during the first few months. Be aware!
I had allergic reaction. Burning, redness and swelling of lids.
Discontinued use immediately.
After using Gradelash md for 6 days I had to stop using it. One of my eyes was swollen shut with redness and itching. I also used it in my eyebrows. Rash above brow with redness and itching. Weird that 1 side was worse than the other
I had a reaction as well. And oddly, I’ve never had an allergic reaction to anything in my life. Just started using the product two days ago and my eyelids are burning and red. My eyes are also red, one more so than the other, which is odd. I’m discontinuing use for a week or so to see if it clears up, then will try again, just to see if it returns.
Omg only used this for 2 days my eyes are burning and sore and my eyelids have discoloured will it revert to normal after stopping , I’m worried I’ve demaged my eyes
Please see an opthamogist and get an eye exam.
About a year after using grande lash, when I had my next eye checkup, my optometrist noticed a retina detachment. I had to get a laser procedure done on both of my eyes. Fortunately this was caught relatively early.
I was asked if I had any injuries in the prior year that might have resulted in this. The only thing that I had done was use Grand Lash for couple of weeks which resulted in redness, small bump on top of my eye which made it seem like i had pink eye.
So please be careful with this product.
I had the same reaction. The itching went away but my eyes continued to get red and my lids swollen. Not a pretty look at all.
FINALLY… someone else has said this too. Today is the last day I use this product. I looked in the mirror this morning and my lashes are worse than when I started one month ago. They’re broken and falling out every single day. Going back to RF Lash Boost. It worked wonders but I hated paying the high price.
Grace,
The same thing happened to me as I had used Grandelash MD (got mine ordered online from Sephora in the store by the clerk). I had received recommendations on the serum and had used it just a little under 2 months. During this time I had very little burning and that’s it, so loosing lashes shocked me. Nothing was stated anywhere on the product that this would happen… lash loss, but it only happened to one eye. I am really upset about it as well.
That’s happening to me. I’m freaked out. Did your lashes grow back?
I purchased my tube directly from the GrandeLash website. My lashes started falling out the more I used this product. I stopped using it and my lashes started filling back in. I thought ok I’ll just use it in my eyebrow area to see if I could get some growth. The entire time I used it I had dry flaky skin in and around my brows. I waited 6 months and tried again hoping it wasn’t the product. I used it last night (top and bottom lash line) and woke up to burning red discolored eyelids including the entire under eye area. Looks like I was punched in both eyes. Both of my eyes are red and burning. NEVER AGAIN!
I used GrandelashMD for 2 weeks and my tear ducts in both eyes have became blocked. I’m having to use steroid drops to hopefully open them, if not the Dr. says I will need surgery. Unbelievable, I’m shocked this can be sold. :'(
I had extreme eye lash loss from GrandeLash too, which months later still has not been resolved, and I had a sty in each eye. Won’t be using it again!
I have been using Grande lash serum for 4 days. My eyes are completely glassy and i’m have slight blurred Vision. Needless to say I’m scared and praying that this goes away.I just don’t know what to do?
My eyelids and eyebrow are flaking. I’m also experiencing a twitch in my right eye. Saw another comment about a twitching eye. It’s been 2 weeks since I stopped using this product. Twitching is getting less but eyelids and eye brows are still flaking and itchy.
Would never recommend this product and I don’t have sensitive skin
I have been using GrandeLASH-MD for 3 months now and it has really worked for me. I went from having eyelashes so short I could barely get mascara on them to the long lashes I had as a kid. I would not say they are thicker or more of them, but my lashed are most definitely longer and more noticeable, and it is much easier to apply mascara to them. I am very happy with the product so far.
I used one time before bed as recommend. I woke up next morning with red eye lid skin that was swollen my eyeballs were severely bloodshot red. I discontinued use immediately. Like the others, I read raving reviews. Found no negative reviews. I have used another lash serum with great results and no side effects for two years. The only reason I bought this one is because the one I was using was discontinued. Now I’m to skeptical to try anothet one.
I had the same problem. Red eye lid skin the next day after first use which *seems* to be getting better. Consistent pink eye that is not painful but makes it look like I’m stoned. I read on one rogue website that that will go away with continued use but methinks that is just wishful thinking on my part.. because I can’t admit I just through away $65.
I also used it and at first my eyes would be red in the surrounding areas and would fatigue more easily but after some consistent use it did ease up a lot. I had this same reaction when I used Lash Boost (not sure of the full title) so I sort of think I may just have temperamental eyes!
I had the same experience and this is the only place I found that had any negative reviews. Terrible company for not posting side effects.
I really hate to be negative and I’m not about putting down a product especially if it is working for some people. I used GrandeLash-MD for about 3 months and after discontinuing using it because of the cost I am a little shocked that my eye lashes have fallen out in spaces, hopefully they will grow back!
I just bought this product and applied it on my lashes as soon as I got home. I started reading the reviews and now I’m scared.
I read that eye color gets darker, lashes shed off, eyes twitch, and some even get pink eye. What???
Who has had their eye color changed?
Also ate there any good reviews or did I just throw away my money?
Mine have done the same thing! I have gaps now in my lash line that makes it impossible for mascara to look good. This product should be off the market!
My lashes look great after 8 weeks of use BUT I’ve been noticing my eyelids are loosing their fullness and are creasing/droopy. Heck no. I’m discontinuing and praying that I did not permanently age my eyes. This is a side effect for one of the ingredients that I wish I had done more research on.
I had irritation, slight burning and redness in eye the day after trying.
Thank you so much for posting this! I used this product twice and noticed I was getting dark circles and looking older- not to mention the initial redness/irritation upon application. I cannot believe Sephora is selling this product that has no clinical testing! By clicking on the cloprostenol isopropyl ester link in your review, the resulting page said that ingredient is not safe for people to use period. Again, thank you so much posting your information. I will be returning this product and I obviously don’t recommend it.
I’ve used the product Grande lash for Years! My lashes have never been longer and I’m in my 60’s…I did have some when I first started but after a week it disappeared…
I have been using grande lash md for almost 3 years and have developed dark pigmentation around my entire circumference of both my eyes. 🙁
I have decided to discontinue using it and hopefully the pigmentation will fade.
WILL NOT USE THIS PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been getting eyelash extensions for 10 years now and I do not have sensitive eyes. My hair stylist recommended this product to me so I tried it a few days ago. I put it on above my lashes before I went to bed. I woke up with irritated eyes and blood-shot red eyes for days. I still have red eyes and have to continually put eye drops in. I don’t know when it will go away but I am hoping it doesn’t get any worse than this. I will continue with eyelash extensions…
I love my GrandeLashMD. It worked wonders on my lashes. They are longer by a mile. I didnt have any side effects. Its like everything else; it’ll be great for some and not so great for others. Lucky for me that it gave me long, pretty lashes. Use what works best for you. 🙂
I have been using for a month now while my lashes are definitely filling in and are longer, my eyes are so red all the time that it looks like pink eye eye drops do not clear them
Using the product twice daily for about 1 month now. No difference bad or good yet. No irritation either tho. Will re-review after longer use.
I got my grandelash serum in yesterday and used it last night and omg I awoke to red bloodshot eyes this morning! I heard so much about this profit and how great it was and now this! I’m not happy as this was suppose to also be safe to use for when you had lash extensions. I’m not using this again after reading reviews that are saying the same as mine.
Great product, but like other cosmetic products as soon as it get popular the companies jack up the price, and make less affordable. Really can’t they keep the price down, they are selling a significant amount of product then they get greedy. They price people like me who are retired and on a fixed income out of the market and we have to settle for a inferior product.
I started using this product for about one months (3-4 days/week). I have also developed dark circles around my eyes. I didn’t think that it was from this product at first and I didn’t want to give it up because it worked! My eyelashes have definitely grown longer. I did an experimentation on that: I stopped using it for about a week and I started to see an improvement on my dark circles then I started using Grandelash MD again last night. Today my dark eye circles is back and worsen. I officially stopped using this product. I’d rather get lash extensions than having dark eye circles.
Bad. I have used Revitalash with excellent results and minimal irritation. My experience w this product was the exact opposite. Very harsh. The entire upper and lower areas around my eyes after just one use became red. I used 2x a week for 3 weeks w no result. With Revitalash I got results in less than a week. I stopped using BC too uncomfortable. Months later I was inspired to try again. After just one use my eyeballs are red, painful, sticky, and my vision is blurry despite constant flushing. I wrote that I was surprised this result didn’t happen in testing. Now I find this article which says there is no evidence of testing. I would not recommend using this product BC it’s too risky. I just threw in the trash.
I had bad reactions – I had breathing problems when I took Grande Lash.
And bad headaches. It was so bad, that I couldnt even move.
So I stopped using it and switched back to another serum.
So please watch out if you use it.
Omg! I swear I have a headache waking up in the morning the only time I use this at bedtime! Why the headaches? It is discouraging because my eyelashes do look awesome!
Don’t buy this stuff. I am not a sensitive skin person at all I have had an extreme reaction a week into using this stuff. My eyes are so swollen and I can’t see in the sunlight to drive. Bloodshot itchy eyes also.
I have been using this for two months and my eyelashes are half again as long as they once were. I am careful not to get it in my eye to avoid irritation. I have thicker longer lashes and love it. No side effects. No lash loss. I don’t even remember to use it every day and I have great results.
Has anyone seen loss of hair. Been using the eyelash product grand lash -md for aminth and a half. My hair is thinning. Never had that before. Has anyone experienced that? I’ll stop using it and see if it makes a difference.
Yes, I have the same problem loosing hair badly. I was not sure why and now I am looking at all your comments to see if anyone mentioned the hair loss issue. I am going to stop using it. Thank you!
I got a very good result on my eyelashes, but my hair is thinning, sad…
I had previously used Babe Lash and had AMAZING results. When I was out, I called my salon (where I originally got the Babe Lash) and she sold me Grand Lash this time. At first, I noticed that it really wasn’t doing the same as the Babe Lash but I continued use. After about 3 weeks I found that my eyelashes were falling out in clumps! I have discontinued use and will go back to Babe Lash!!
The products works! I have been using Grande Lash, MD, for the past 9 months and I have noticed a significant difference in the length of my eyelashes. My hairstylist and friends also pointed out that my lashes look longer.
I used Grande Lash a couple nights ago and woke to red swollen eye lids upper and lower with very bloodshot eyes and dark circles above and under my eye lids. Day 2 and the redness and dark circles are still there. Everyone keeps telling me I look sick or tired!!! Horrible stuff!!! I returned it to Sephora. I would not recommend.
I used it two times. After the second application I work up with a red rash around both eyes where I applied it. No itching but slight burning. 12 hours later and the red rash is still there.
Hi all, I have found that with GrandeLash MD, if you use the product from a legitimate seller, it gives consistent and great results. Sadly, I’ve also found is that there are A LOT of GrandeLash sellers that sell fake serum. It’s REALLY hard to know the difference between the real sellers and the fakes. I have a feeling that the problems that people have with this are because it’s not the real thing. Additionally, according to this article it’s only patients who have put these drops in their eyes that have experienced the darkening: https://www.oprah.com/style/are-lash-enhancing-serums-safe (although I saw an anecdote from a person online that said her hazel eyes were looking darker). I do use this serum, from a reputable seller (direct from the company is probably best! I am pretty sure the one on Amazon is not legit.) and it works VERY well. I do have light colored eyes and have no new dark spots. I do have some eyelid darkening only where applied, but it’s not too bad. I also try to use a very modest amount so it doesn’t get into my eyes.
I have used Grande Lash for about eight months. It seemed to work quite well at first but is not keeping my lashes as full as before and in the last three months I have begun to find it very irritating. The dark circles under my eyes have grown increasingly pronounced. It really looks terrible. I didn’t realize that darkness around the eyes was a potential. I hope this darkness will reverse when I discontinue use.
I have been using grandelash for 3 months now and although my lashes look amazing, people keep asking me why do I look so tired..and my husband and a few friends commented on how dark it is around my eyes..not sure what to do
Hi! I know this comment was made a while ago but I am experiencing the same thing and was wondering if the pigmentation went away ?
Me too! That’s why I googled and saw this. Throwing out – did not experience with RF lash boost but too expensive.
I had great vision until the last year using this product . Now in a year I have bad after arts that need to be removed and I could tell a large decrease in eyesight
I used this product for the first time last night and woke up to a VERY red and irritated right eye. Will not be using again and will be returning to Sephora asap.
I have used grandelash for about 3 months. My lashes are fabulous. I did notice darker pigmentation around my eyes but the biggest issue is I now have hair growing in the corner of my eyes and on my cheeks below my eyes. Just bizarre.
I also oddly enough started experiencing hair loss on my head.
The same thing has happened to me, which is why I researched the product. I even grew a small eyelash in the area under my eye! Very odd!
I used the product for about 2 weeks and developed small red blisters underneath my eyes am experiencing burning pain. I am hoping that my skin will heal and will never use this product or recommend to anyone to use.
Hi Deanna
I was reading about the Eye Lash serum, after reading this, I’m afraid to use it. what do you think?
Love grande lash have used it for years no side effects did use latisse and I had a lot of twitching went to my eye dr he said it was from latisse
I can’t believe all the negative reviews here! In fact, I’m not sure i do believe them. Grandelash has been a miracle product for me!! NO irritation, side effects, redness, discoloration, etc, but INCREDIBLE lash growth to the point that ppl keep asking if I have extensions. Just putting this here…
Not sure why all the bashing? I understand everyone reacts differently but I’ve been using GrandeLash for years and LOVE it. I have more lashes and now l don’t even wear mascara. There are times that an area will itch but that’s the new growth. How do l know that? I lost all my hair when l was going through chemo years ago and when my hair started to grow back it was the same itchy feeling. Everyone comments on how awesome my lashes look and ask if they’re extensions. As for losing lashes when you stop using the product, well yes we all lose them naturally as we do our hair but this helps grow it back faster with more volume. It’s not a permanent solution so you need to apply daily. So as far as I’m concerned GrandeLash delivers what it promises and l plan on using it as long as it’s available.
I’ve used the product for 2 days and my eyes are really sore and sensitive. I have a small blister on the top of my left eye near my lash line and irritation on both!
I have been using this product for about a month and I’ve noticed discoloration on my upper eye lid and my eyes are very blood shot. I will be discontinuing use of this product.
I have been using this product for over a month. My daughter has used it for over 6 months with great results, and my sister has also had positive results. I, on the other hand, have noticed that I have bare spots on my eye lids. I am so disappointed, and wish that I hadn’t tried it. I’m not sure if I want to try a different product, or just hope that my eye lashes grow back.
I have been using for exactly two weeks and I’m now noticing an increased sensitivity to light and my lashes aren’t growing longer. I will discontinue using this product if the light sensitivity gets worse.
I used Grandlash two nights ago and my eyes have been bloodshot red since I woke up the following morning. I used regular Visine and it didn’t work. My eyes are still red. I’m hoping to see my eye doctor today. I’m so glad I read these reviews. It confirms my suspicions. I’m going to return this product to Sephora. Why would they keep selling a product with so many complaints of reactions?
What did your eye doc say? I woke up this morning after using this stuff and my eyes are so bloodshot red, burning, sensitive to light! What in the world?! Not sure if I need to go to the doctor ASAP?
Awful stuff the GrandeLash! I put it on and my eyes puffed up and are red red red and they itch. I’m sending the expensive stuff back!
I’ve been using GrandeLash for 4 months and my lashes are a lot longer and fuller. I’m a bit surprised to see that reviewers had their lashes fall out. Maybe it works differently for different people? All I know is that it has been working great for me and I have gotten nothing but compliments. I also have dark eyes, so not worried about my brown/almost black color going any darker haha
I used the grandelash product for 6 weeks now..i saw growth at 4 weeks but in the last 2 weeks i am having incredible shedding..its disturbing.
I called grandelash and they offered no assistance but instead told me i can return the product back to sephora..
My lashes are worse now than before i ever started using the grandelash.
I also experienced some darkening discoloration.
I’ve used Grandelash for about a year now and have not had any problems. My lashes are so long and full now that people think I’m wearing false eyelashes.
Just bought this stuff yesterday. Applied to my eyes last night. Got up this am and both of my eye lids are red also underneath the same thing is going on there. Well got taken once again by a company. Bought this at Ultra. Problem is no refunds. Spent 72.00’ this crap. Pissed..
Terrible product. Not happy at all.
I’ve been using this product, bought at Sephora, for 2 months. My lashes look great. They are fuller and longer. BUT.. I recently noticed white/blonde colored hairs on my face!!! And not just a few here and there.. So yes, my lashes grew but the peach fuzz on my face is not worth it. Definitely not using it anymore since it has been the only thing added to my skin care routine. Hopefully my lashes will stay the way they are and the rest will go.
I wish I read these comments earlier. I used Grandlash for 2 months, I did not know why I got the hair loss problem. My hair keep falling out terribly. I am almost bald now. So sad….
I have been using this product for two years and the people are right my right eye is itchy I have redness around the top and the bottom of my eyes which I’ve never had before I have pain in my right eye too. I use the serum every other nite and the nites I don’t use the serum my eye fells fine. I am going to quit using it even though my eyelashes look good .
Pat
My eye and kids are burning only day 4. I’m obviously stopping and returning. I plan on using latiesse Been around for years affective and the proof is behind it this is a scam and the bottom line is it should never burn your eyes her eyelid and I’ve used plan a lash growing systems been around for years affective and the proof is behind it this is a scam and the bottom line is it should never burn your eyes or eyelid and I’ve use plenty lash growing systems Do not try !!!
I’ve been using this product for a week now. The first day my eyes were itching. I feel like I’m noticing results. It has only been a week. No other reactions. My sister has been using it for almost two years and hasn’t had any issues. Her eyelashes are amazing. I feel like the reactions are individual cases. Not all experiences are bad with this product. <3
Same reactions as everyone else….red circles around the eyes, irritation and bloodshot eyes. So not worth it.
Ive been using this for a few months and loved it. I didnt care about the dark spots because my eyelashes were so long. But not just under my eyes i am noticing a small patch of hair. THAT WAS DEFINETLY NOT THERE BEFORE.
My eyelashes grew but I also developed dark circles around my eyes. And, I’ve seen hair growth on my eye lids and sides of my eyes (yes, even with very careful application). Anyone else have this issue?
I have been using Grandelash for a year. I won’t live without it. It works!!!
I Purchased this product at Sephora today and had a terrible reaction. My face broke out in hives, redness and irritation on the eyes and Headaches. Not worth a single lash
I have been using this for about 2 months now and had to give it up. Started to get flaky skin around eyes.
I’ve been using grande lash serum for a month. Started on the tops only with minor irritation and slight itching do I continued. My lashes were definitely getting longer so I started on the bottom lash line. After the 4th week I noted some darkness at the lower outer eye orbital. Maybe a vein? But then… I noticed HAIRS. Like a swath of dark thicker peach fuzz not quite in the highlight area but it’s not eye liner or eye shadow area either. It’s more the concealer area. I gently plucked and removed the almost peach fuzz and still am finding this strange darkness. The eye lashes are growing longer but I don’t need weird fuzz on my upper cheeks and growing kind of up into my eye brows. The patch of hair wants to connect and make friends. I came here to see if unwanted hairs and strange darkening were side effects. Seems the darkness is a side effect that will hopefully go away when I stop using the product. I really just want lashes!!! I’ve tried “permanent” lashes twice. First time was amazing . Second time was terrible. I was like a scary clown doll with clumps of plastic wadded to my lashes that curled and some flipped downward. So I had to mascara those things in place. The effect was a terrifying Tammy Fayesque appearance. I asked for a natural look. Sigh
1st time use, irritated red eyes, upper lid and lower. sensitivity to sunlight, unusual for me as I am a 30 plus veteran U.P.S. driver in California. Having read soooo many reviews of people having the same reactions with their first initial use of your Grande lash, M.D. serum, as long as I don’t lose my eyesight, I’ll try not to panic. I’m just going to refrain from use and hope my eyes go back to normal….blood-shot free and irritation-free.
I started using this product 4 days ago. Everyday my eyes have been bloodshot red. I’ve been asked if I’m high lol (I’m not!!) but it definitely looks like I am. I tried eyedrops and they barely worked and then I tried just plain water and that only worked a little. My roommate used this lash serum as well and she has amazing results with no side affects. I’m so sad cause I need a good lash serum and previously I used RODAN + FIELDS which worked amazing for growth & fullness (although some redness around the eye on the skin/water line) but that price was too expensive for long turn use
My coworker had incredible results from using this lash serum. She recommend this brand to me and because her lashes were gorgeous I purchased one for myself since it seemed promising. After my first use (last night) I woke up with red eyes and puffiness around my eye lids. My eyes feel really dry. I had to purchase eye drops which have been helping a bit. Going to hold off using again until the redness in my eyes subside.
Has anybody had an allergic reaction all over their body from using this serum? I just started using it about 4 days ago because we have to quarantine for new grand baby arriving. My eyelids are bright red and my whole body is very very itchy including my head and all of my skin. When I scratch I am breaking out in huge welts and I took benedryl ad then it dawned on my it could be from this lash serum. Just wondering if anybody else has experienced the same?
I have been using grande lash for months. 1st started noticing almost a family buildup on lash line (like sleepys, but not in corner of my eye- just where I apply serum) and now I have dark pigment exactly when I apply the serum. Lashes are super long and multiplying so I want to keep using. BUT I AM worried about the other side effects- don’t know what they mean!?
PLEASE STOP USING THIS SERUM! the first day I used this Grandelash-MD serum, immediately it started burning. The next day I woke up with very red eyes. People would ask me If I was high. The next thing I noticed after a week of using this product was my left eye was droopy and my right eye looked inflamed. After doing my research, I was surprised to see how many other women have been experiencing bad side effects from this serum. Shame on Sephora for selling a product like this. This serum contains an ingredient called isopropyl cloprostenate, which is a type of medicine called a prostaglandin analog. This analog is used by eye doctors to treat patients with glaucoma. This is the analog that can cause of this eye issues which some are permanent. Here is a link that will explain more about it:

This serum should not be available for patients to buy without a prescription!
I used this for about a month and experienced irritation on upper eyelid (left eye) only, and it looked like I had reddish-brown eye shadow on which was odd, It got so bad I had to see a dermatologist who gave me Epicream and Hydrocortisone 2.5% in 2 days all the irritation disappeared. I am now left with a small sized wart and wrinkly lids!! This is a terrible product and should be discontinued.
The comments I’ve read are very disturbing. My Esthetician recommended Grande Lash MD several years ago. She works magic on my skin and researches everything. So, I’ve used this product for two years, at least. I have great results with much longer lashes. I’ve had no fallout, eye redness or darkening of skin. I DO have a cataract that will be addressed but that has been coming along for sometime. I’m 69, cataracts are typical. I have noticed fine, darker hairs towards the outside corners of my eyes. They’re not terribly noticeable and I remove them. Being more precise when applying will prevent that. I’m very happy with the growth as my eyes have always been a best feature. Grande Lash has worked every bit as well as Latisse and much less expensive. I wish it worked as well for everyone.
I have used 2 months. I have completely stopped. Red eyelids that flaked on the rims, bloodshot eyes, burning sensation. The lashes grew nicely but I look awful! I haven’t put on makeup for a week and my eyelids still itch. Ugh!
I used this serum for 2 days and my eyes became so bloodshot. Almost no whites left in my eyes. Where I placed the serum on my eyelid was red and almost looked burnt. I have discontinued use of the product and it’s been three days since I’ve used it. My eyes are still blood shot but have improved, the red line is still there but seems to be getting better. My eyes are still every sore from the product. Definitely test out the product and pay attention to any reactions after the first application. I was so excited to use the product ignored the signs until after the second use due to how bad my eyes had gotten so quickly.
I don’t know if this happened to anyone else. I started seeing long lashes falling out. That is the opposite of what I want.
Been using it for over a solid month. GREAT RESULTS in length but I also started experiencing some major shed. I started to get gaps 🙁 I say PASS.
Heard about a friend who has cataracts at age 40 after using this for 6 months . Beware .
I used this for a few weeks. While it made my lashes longer, I got horrible bruises under my eye that took a week to go away, and then I got them on the top inside corner of my eye. This has never happened to me before. Also my eyelash line is irritated and hurts. No more use for me.
I used this for a WEEK and I had insane eye twitching. It would twitch non stop all day. I stopped using it and the twitching sort of went away after a few weeks
Been using grande lash for about 7 weeks now and I definitely seen a hugeee improvement!!! Only thing is that I’ve developed darkness around my eyes and I thought it was my lack of sleep but It’s been the lash serum all
This time! I’m black(dark skin) so be aware if this happens to you
I tried this lash serum and the next day i woke up with red eyes. My right side is the worst and it feels tender to the touch. Has anyone experience eye damage from this?! What an awful serum. Throwing it out today.
