Babe Lash is an American company that focuses on women’s health and self-confidence. Its three products are made in the United States and they are: enhancing conditioner, enhancing mascara, and the Essential Serum.
It’s a product that aims to condition and strengthen brittle lashes.
The serum, which gives longer and thicker lashes, has won industry awards such as the Aestheticians’ Choice Awards in 2019.
The brand claims that their prostaglandin technology helps to stimulate the skin around the eyes, leading to fuller, healthier looking lashes.
The product is also supposed to produce quick results, with lashes looking longer in as few as four weeks.
But can Babe Lash Serum live up to the hype?
The Top Line: Not a buy. While many of the ingredients in the formula are natural and appear safe, others have very scary side effects such as permanent dark spots on the eye.
Based on these facts and comments from our readers, we have determined that Babe Lash is not a safe, effective option to help you attain fuller, longer lashes.

What to expect from Babe Lash Serum
This is a beauty treatment, so it both takes time and it has its side effects.
The goal of the Babe Lash Serum is to have longer and fuller lashes by following the lashes’ growth cycle.
This cycle includes three phases and the first one (called Anagen) is when the changes happen. In four to six weeks, the little buds will grow to their fullest potential and then stop.
The Ingredients

SkinSAFE analyzed the Essential serum and it found that it is 91 percent allergen free, since it doesn’t contain any nickel or preservatives. This lash serum is also vegan and gluten free, perfect to prevent allergies.
The Babe Lash Serum is produced with the prostaglandin technology, a molecular mechanism that augments regeneration and strength. Aside from water, this product contains glycerin, which is a natural compound that hydrates and protects.
Babe Lash Serum Side Effects
This lash serum can cause irritation, especially to people with sensitive skin. Other side effects are:
- dryness,
- redness of the eyelids,
- and darker skin around the eyes.
If you experience irritation, you should stop using the serum.
Most of the side effects happen with first time users and during the first days of use. If they last longer, it’s better to stop applying the lash serum.
How To Apply the Babe Lash Essential Serum

Dip the wand once and that would be enough for both lashes, directly in your upper lash line.
Once you have achieved the results that you were hoping for (again, give it at least a month), you can continue to apply the serum two or three times a week.
The good news is that you can use this serum with brows, lash extensions, and with contact lenses.
What We Didn’t Like About Babe Lash
The side effects can cause uncomfortable feelings for your eyes and skin, so beware.
While the results are unmistakable, the serum can take too long to work and, in the meantime, it can cause redness in the eyes.
This serum is also difficult to find in traditional stores.
Babe Lash Serum Testimonials

The before and after images prove that Babe Lash works.
A reviewer on Amazon had started losing chunks of eyelashes and she decided to use the serum. She wrote,

You can find the Babe Lash Serum at Walmart’s online store, with a score of 4.4 stars and 100 percent of people recommending it.

Buyers on the Babe Lash website left before and after pictures, as well as complimentary words, with one writing:

Where To Find Babe Lash Serum
This serum is easier to find online and these are the top online stores:
- Babe Lash online store, shop directly from the company
- Walmart online store, where the price might be more competitive
- Amazon, to pair it up with other Babe Lash products
How Much Does Babe Lash Serum Cost?
This product comes in three sizes:
- 2ML, lasts up to 3 months, at $65
- 4ML, lasts up to 6 months, at $120
- Mini, lasts up to 6 weeks, at $37
On Amazon, you can find the Combo Pack (lash serum + mascara) at $72.
How Does Babe Lash Compare to Other Lash Serums?
The most popular alternatives are: GrandeLash MD and Rodan and Fields Lash Boost.
Babe Lash vs GrandeLash MD
While they both have stunning results, GrandeLash has fewer side effects. Only 3 percent of users have reported issues and the most common (and the fastest to disappear) was irritation. Babe Lash uses the innovative prostaglandin technology, while GrandeLash has more natural ingredients, such as the botanical extract blend.
Babe Lash vs Rodan and Fields Lash Boost
The Lash Boost is pricier and it only comes in one size: 5ML of serum for $155. So, this is not a product suitable for people on a budget and who are looking to try it out before choosing. Lash serum are subjective to a person’s skin and lash, so it is better to try something smaller and then see if these products are right for you.
Final Thoughts
Babe Lash Essential Serum is a valuable option if you are looking for stronger and thicker lashes. What it lacks in natural ingredients, it makes up in price and packaging.

OMG – best product EVER! I have been using Babe Lash on my wimpy eyelashes since the 3rd week of August and I noticed a HUGE difference in just about a month. My lashes are really long and don’t “itch” and fall out as much. My eye lids are a little sensitive if/when I rub them, somewhat like a slight burning sensation, but then it’s gone. I spent about $60 on the 6 month product and will continue to buy this product!! I use 2 high-end mascara bases (started using them a few years ago in the hope that my eyelashes would become stronger and thicker…that didn’t work – and at $25 a pop every 3 months, it does become a little pricey) and I use “They’re Real” mascara by Benefit ($25-$30) and I love that mascara, but after using Babe Lash, I may be able to buy a cheaper/drug store type product (Maybelline, Cover Girl, etc…) since my eyelashes are soooo long and thick! Love Love LOVE this product -would absolutely recommend it!!
Babe lash gave my daughter dark hair growth under her eyes looking like dark circles!!! It is something I have a doctors appointment scheduled for!
I had a few of these, too, but they were easily tweezed away. Perhaps your daughter is using too much product? I do not use it on my lower lashes.
I am also getting a lot of dark hair under my eyes and top of cheek
I have been using it for 2 .5 months , everyday but no results AT ALL. I paid $60.00 for the product and am very disappointment. I would live my money back so I can try another brand.
Thank you.
Estel
I’m starting to have a slight irritation after 4 days?? Will
I go blind if I keep applying ?
I used Babe Lash for 2-3 months and I loved it. Then I got tired of using it because it was an extra step in my regimen and it was a bit irritating and itchy on my eyes. I am a bit sensitive to many things, but about 2 months after discontinuing use, my long, lengthy lashes started to shed, along with much of the rest of my lashes. I feel like I’ve lost the lashes that I DID have. I’m kind of eyelash-depleted now. I have holes in my lash line. I have fewer eyelashes than before I started using the product. Surely, this cannot be a sustainable product.
I’ve been using it for about two and a half months, and I am seeing results! I’ve also had no negative side effects.
I have used babe lash for 5 months and at first I was getting awesome results and loved it! NOW my eyelashes r falling out not just here and there like normal but leaving bare gaps I’m so upset!
This is happening to me to.. which is why I’m on here looking at reviews. Are you continuing to use it? Have they grown back?
Currently happening to me! Can you please give an update?
Yep my eyes were red red. It was alful. My daughter, who bought it for a gift, was mortified.
I am also having shedding after a 5 month period, my lashes aren’t as good right now. Is this normal? Will they regain the length again?
I have used Babe for 2 months and must stop as my eyes are totally bloodshot every morning !!
help one application horrible rash on lids under eyes and on the side of my eyes . I look like someone punched me in both eyes. I am going to see a dermatologist soon. Please advise
My eyes are burning so badly, I just woke up at 2:30 to put cold water on my eyes! I have used it about 2 weeks now and the irritation and burning is unbelievable. I also started tretinoin before that and didn’t know which thing was causing the irritation. Now I am 100% sure it is the babelash. When I put it on it stings a little bit but that seemed to be all I noticed. After 2 weeks, my eyes burn, the skin around my eyes burn like crazy and all I want to do is put cold water on them. Which I just did to a great deal of relief. Apparently when it soaks into the surrounding skin it irritates ALL of it to a darn near ER visit degree. I will not use it again and will bet you the irritation stops as soon as that gets out of my skin. I will come back here and tell you if I’m wrong, I promise. But I must be allergic to this stuff. Cold water on my eyes never felt so good. I can’t find any consumer information with any kind of medical info other than if it irritates, stop immediately and that is right NOW. I want my money back too. I have such a headache!!!!!!!!
My eyelashes are falling out after several months of great results. Help! I’ve stopped using the product. Any suggestions out there?
I’ve been using it for about a week and half and the waterlines on my lids are so stingy. I don’t notice it so much during the day but when I wash my face or my makeup off the burning on my eyelids is extremely intense. I’m going to stop using it as I’ve got a stinkin’ feeling that if I continue my lashes will start falling out. I’ve used Latisse before and it works phenomenally but it did turn my blue eyes to more of a grayish hazel so I stopped using it before there was no blue left at all. sigh. Hate paying that much $$ and finding out so quickly I can’t use it.
I have used babe lash for 4 months and my lashes and brows are looking amazing. No problems at all.
I used successfully with minimal irritation and redness on first tube. Had tons of growth. Second tube is heinous. Looks like I have pink eye every morning, eyelids puffy and swollen and funk coming out of my eyes.
Dr. Said it’s possibly bad product and am having an allergic reaction. Something must have changed in their serum.
I’m going back to Revitalash. Never had any problems with that.
I have use babe lash for two nights and my eyes are red and itchy I’m very disappointed as the box is trashed so now I guess I can’t return it
I have been using babe lash for 3 months. I probably remember to use it 2-4 times a week before I go to sleep. I only use it if I will be sleeping at least 4 hours as it makes my upper eyelid red. My lashes are longer and fuller than they have ever been. I get compliments from my female friends and they ask if I have eyelash extensions. Males just say my eyes are beautiful.
The 2 tubes I have purchsed do not seem to have any serum on the wand. I apply it as recommended, but the wand seems to be dry. I will keep trying it for the 6 weeks, but the last tube did not work so I am not optimistic about this tube either. I thought maybe the 1st tube was an expired one, but the “new” one had fluid for about 5 days, now it also seems dry. I fully cap it and tighten the cap each time, so I think the tubes only have a touch of serum.
I love Babe Lash!!I have had great results with this product. You have to watch who you buy it from!
I bought babelash at the recommendation of a friend. I haven’t seen results but I her experienced major burning sensation in my eyes and much irritation. I’m so mad and wonder if anyone has tried to get their money back?
I love the results yes it took months to even see any then I realized oh shoot I am out in literally two months that is ridiculous. For the cost I’m empty. I also just realized I have a massive amount of hairs growing all on my cheek bones under my eyes in areas you don’t get hair. That really freaked me out . It burns for weeks on end but results are incredible. I don’t like the hairs growing on my face especially under my eye bags it’s humiliating
I’m expirencing ALL of the above. I’ve been using for 6 months now and one day, my mom asked me, why are your eyelids so red? I was like, umm, I’m not sure. I took a look and sure enough, my eyelids were beat red, still are. I didn’t want to believe it was from the serum because my eyelashes look amazing from using this stuff. I’m very disappointed that I’m going to have to stop using it!! It looks like I’m sunburnt all around my eyes and I have a line of red on my lower lid and I don’t put the serum there. Also, I’m noticing hairs next to my eyes and I was thinking, oh my goodness, have I missed tweezing those hairs all these years?! But now that I’ve read other reviews, it HAS to be from the serum. Ugh! Soooooo disappointed!!!!!! This serum does work great but I don’t want to look like a clown. Bummer.
